Spanish Cantabria is a mountainous and coastal region of humid oceanic climate, moderate temperatures (mild winters and summers) and influences of the winds from the Atlantic Ocean colliding against the mountains. It has an area of 5321 km2 of which 40% is above 700 meters. And has an important natural and cultural heritage.
