How have you been?" She sadly smiled, "Eh, so-so." She sat on the bed and sighed. I sat by her, "Who let you in?" She smiled, "Who do you think?" I grinned, "Matt?" She shook her head, "No, Kerry." "Oh." I said. "Did you get to meet her?" She nodded, "She's cool." I quietly screamed then squeezed her hand, "Isn't it awesome? I mean living with Kerry Russell?" "Eh," she said matter-of-factly, "It's no biggie." She looked down at the floor. Normally I would have commented back, but something told me that Miley was uncomfortable about something. "Miles?" I nudged her with my elbow, "what's wrong?" She shook her head and looked away. I sighed, "Come on, Miles. I'm your best friend. You can tell me anything." She still wouldn't answer me. "Well, if you don't want to tell me what's up, then I'll keep bothering you. What's up, Miles? Huh? Huh? Hu.." "Okay!!" she snapped, "I'll tell you what's up!" I grinned, "the sky?" she rolled her eyes then laughed, "No, that's not what i meant. I mean.." she sighed again, "Lizzie, there's something i need to tell you. It's serious." I stopped laughing and sat straight. "Miley, what's wrong?" She gave me one look then burst out crying, "It's me. I've been such a terrible friend to you." she put her face in her hands and sobs escaped from her mouth. I gently placed my arm on her shoulder, "No you haven't, Miles. You are the best friend anyone could want." She shook her head, "You're just saying that." i sighed, "Miles, why don't you tell me what's wrong?" She sat up, masara falling down her face, "Okay. But you have to promise to let me go out the door once I've told you. No questions." i nodded. Miley can be a drama queen, so i just expected something minor. Probably something like,'i scratched my mom's car' or 'Daddy won't let me date Justin tonight' something like that. She took a deep breath, "I'm dating Nick. And we're not virgins anymore." she walked out the door and left me open mouthed. Once i heard the front door close, my body began to shake. How could this have happened? how could this be true? I ran to my window just in time to see Miley climb onto a motorcycle behind Nick. He turned around and spoke to her, and she just nodded and wiped the mascara off her face. he leaned back and kissed her, then they were both off. I sat on my bed dumbfounded. This couldn't be true. The front door slammed and I heard footsteps running up the stairs. The door to my room flew open and Matt ran over to me and gave me a huge hug. I cried a little harder and tried to push him away, "Matt, not now. I.." he placed a finger over my lips, "I already know. I'm sorry." I shook my head, "How could he do that? And with my best friend?" he shrugged, "Sometimes people do things just to hurt others. Or they do it to get back at others." I closed my eyes and shook my head again, "I don't get it." He nodded, "i know what you mean, babe. I don't get Nick or Miley at all. I know she can be crazy and so can he, but they sometimes go a little to the extreme, ya know?" I nodded, "I know. He use to.." I closed my mouth and didn't say anything. I didn't want to think about what he use to do when we were 'in love'. Ha! what a joke. "I know he use to pressure you into, well you know. Blake has just completed her 2 year managerial course and has just began working as co-manager of the hotel, her mentor is Mr.Mannings. Chase lives in New York with his mom and hes just graduated high school so he plans on attending college in Los Angeles, California. Selena and Chase are very close. He visits her during vacations and when he has free time. Selena and Chase's mom are very close too. Selena's mom walked out on her and her father when she was 3 years old. Selena'a mom was a gold-digger and when she gave birth to Selena she was entitled to her husband fortune so she just took the money and left. Demi lives with her mom and dad. Her dad is a plastic surgeon and her mom is a homemaker. Demi has two sisters an older one and a younger one. Demis older sister is 19 years old and has just moved to New York to be an intern at Ralph Lauren. Demi's younger sister is 8 and she will be visiting her aunt in Australia with her mom over summer. Demi is very close to Selena and her family. Demi plays guitar and piano and is musically talented aswell. Richie is an only child and lives with his mom ad dad in Los Angeles.
