Anna was still sad about what happened that morning and it seemed to be rubbing off on the other girls. The guys had no clue what was up with everyone so Joe nudged Kevin to say something and try and make the situation a little awkward. Unfortunatly, what he said only made everything worse.)K: So Anna. I thought you were hanging out with Jake today.(Sam shot Kevin a look warning him not to say anything else. He began to understand what was going on. Sam tried to cover for her.)S: Change of plans.A: Actually we broke up.(They would have found out sooner or later, so why not tell them now.)J: You broke up?A: Yeah.(Anna couldn't understand why, but Joe's face seemed to light up when she said they broke up. Almost like he was glad. Everyone at the table got quiet again, but Joe seemed really jumpy. He couldn't believe Jake and Anna were broken up. He felt bad for Anna, but now maybe he would actually have a chance with her. He wanted to talk to her alone as soon as possible.)J: So Anna what are you doing after breakfast?A: Umm. I don't know. What are you guys doing?L: Actually, we were planning to go to the mall again. Just to hang out. You're more than welcome to come along.A: Well then I guess I'm going to the mall.S: Do you guys want to come? (She asked this question to the brothers.)K: Do we have to?L: Please, please, please.N: And watch you try on clothes all day?(The brothers gave each other a disgusted look. And so are you two.K&J: Fine.(Joe was actually excited to go. This was his chance to get Anna alone. After everyone finshied their breakfast they all headed to the mall. The girls and guys split up. The girls walked around looking for cute outfits while the guys headed to look at new video games. Everyone met up for lunch and sat in couples. Joe wanted to sit with Anna but she was already sitting with Laura and Nick. Instead he sat with Tess. Tess began to notice something was up with Joe. He kept glancing over at Anna, and acting really impatient.)T: You should talk to her.J: Huh?T: Anna. I can tell you like her. Our breaks almost over. You should talk to her before its too late.J: And you'd be okay with that?T: Sure. I mean you've drooling over her all through lunch. You must really like her.J: I guess I do. I just wish I could get her alone.T: I'll figure something out.J: Thanks. You're a great friend.(Tess whisked her hair back with her hand.)T: Oh, I know.(When everyone had finished lunch they were trying to discuss where to go. Sam and Kevin and Laura and Nick were both going to walk around together, so Tess immediatly said she wanted to do some shopping on her own and suggested that Joe and Anna hang out for a while. They both instantly agreed to the idea and everyone headed off in their seperate directions.
