| Mega Man Playthrough Part 5/5: One Game Down... A Buttload To GoWed, 07 Jan 2009 16:16:14 -0800 by LordVuciousWell, this is it. The final part of my Megaman playthrough. It's been fun, but it has to end some time, right? But don't worry, viewers. If you know me, you know that I'm going to keep going. Be on the lookout for my Megaman 2 playthrough and just about every other sequel after... assuming that you can handle that much Megaman in a lifetime. Thanks for taking the time to watch this, rating, and commenting if you chose to. And remember, this is only the first of many playthrough featuring the Blue Bomber.This final part of the playthrough contains the final Wily stage including the remaining Robot Master gauntlet and the battle against Wily.Stage Notes:Dr. Wily Stage 4 - Let me first say that for the life of me, I can never get through this stage in one complete run without dying by the time I get to Wily, himself. I'll do it one day, and maybe I'll record it as a bonus video of sorts.Anyway, overall the run was as I expected, and was true to how I usually go through this stage: an easy run through the first section, then the Robot Master carnage, the preceeding death the first time I face Wily (an important part of my usual routine when in this stage, I'm afraid), and the eventual payback and whipping of said Wily's ass.As for the individual Robot Masters:-Bomb Man: Overall, very simple with the Fire Storm. However, the bad timing with the final hit cost me some unnecessary damage from one of Bomb Man's Hyper Bombs.-Fire Man: Just as annoying as always. I still can't dodge all of his Fire Storm attacks and take too much damage. This is usually the major factor coming in to the final Wily battle.-Ice Man: Easy. NEXT!-Guts Man: Depending on how my fight with Fire Man goes, this battle could add insult to injury if I didn't properly time my jumps. I got mixed results, but still pretty good, personally.As for Wily, his first form is usually pretty simple with an easy pattern of attack to dodge. Only a lack of focus or getting too close to the Wily Machine messes me up by the time I reach the final half of the battle. Of course, with the amount of damage I sustained earlier, I died sooner than I wanted to. However, this is me we're talking about here. So I may die my fair share of times, I will beat the game without getting a game over, and that, my friends, is the end of the first Megaman. One death occurred in this stage.Final Stats:Total Deaths - 3Game Overs - 0Total Recording Time - 40+ mins.Like I said, I'm not a speed runner. I just play my own pace succeeding and failing in the process. Thanks again, and be ready for Megaman 2 soon. More than likely that playthrough WILL have commentary. It's Megaman 2 for Christ's sake, every body comments that game. :POh, and on a minor MUGEN related note, for those who are following that little part of my life, be on the lookout for four new members coming to Team WindStreakers, and much more on the way soon.
