| FE7: Ch 31 Playthrough (HHM)Thu, 08 Jan 2009 00:17:29 -0800 by vH903Not too difficult of a chapter overall.There is a secret shop that you can ONLY access if you've picked up the Warp staff from Ch29 Cog Of Destiny (against Linus or Lloyd).It is on one of the tiles in the little 4x4 patch of grass to the south of the map, and sells promotional items.4 of your units will start in the middle of the map, and it'll drive you absolutely crazy if you have a low level unit amongst any of the four. First of all, the middle of the castle is surrounded with mid-level enemy generals carrying both lances and axes. They're also accompanied by a company of Shamans and Druids, and the occasional Archer and Sniper. The enemy will use Berserk, Sleep, and Silence Staffs on you whenever they can, so make sure all of the four units have high speed, so should any spell be cast on them, they will survive until reinforcements arrive.Closer to the throne room, there will be one swordsmaster, an entire company of Shamans/Druids, Archers/Snipers, and reinforcements occasionally. Here is the place to do most of your training, because Shamans have low speed and accuracy, Druids are promoted enemies that aren't too difficult to take out.The boss on this map (Denning) is a level 19 (I think) morph Sniper. Carrying both a Silver and Long Bow. My team had just broken through the castle gate when we were unexpectedly confronted by the entire enemy team. Their knights kept us pretty well penned in while their archers took shots at us from just about every direction.
